A winemaking company owned by the Pizzolo family, located right between Verona and Vicenza. According to XIX century historical writings on the Pizzolos, the family’s fate has always been intertwined with industry and agriculture. The present-day owners of the company, brothers Giuliano, Augustus, Floriano i George all spent their childhood under a watchful eye of their father, Giovanni Alberto. They all, since their early days, worked in the vineyards and on the fields of the family mansion, learning their skills and professions.
Back in 1986, the company acquired a winery and land parcels in the vicinity of Calmasino, Bardolino, at the same time setting up Enoitalia. Since then, supervised by the current CEO, Giorgio Pizzolo, the company keeps growing and sees and technological and business expansion.
For a handful of years now Enoitalia has been placed in Italy’s top 10 wine companies export- and total turnover-wise. Some 80 per cent of its production is being sent abroad. The company assumes a leading position on markets such as Canada, US, Germany and England.
In addition, apart from its business involvement, Enoitalia takes part in long-term regional projects, aimed at supporting and preserving the original Italian winemaking areas through the cultivation and development or local types of wine strains, renovation of mansions, climate consciousness and support for the landscape and local micro-economy.
