The winery was established in 1978 by Primo Fanciullacci, covering some 80 hectares, out of which as many as 45 are covered by vineyards. The types of cultivated plants are meticulously selected so they can benefit most from the richness of the soil and the local micro-climate.
The L’Arco winery is located in Vinci, a small medieval village neighbouring Florence and Pisa in Italy. It is surrounded by beautiful hills of Tuscany, in the heart of Chianti, where the time passes by with no haste, while the air has a sweet taste. The soil is fertile, rich and clayish.
By taking long strolls through our vineyards it is possible to feel the climate of the Tuscany’s sun, taste a perfect sip of wine and a bite of local dishes. The villa is surrounded by olive groves and vineyards, featuring also an exhibition and meeting space.
The winery’s central location in the region’s heart is a perfect starting point for both businessmen and tourists.
The most widespread wine strain is Sangiovese, as well as Merlot, Cabernet, Syrah, Cabernet Franc, Canaiolo, Montepulciano, Vermentino, Trebbiano and Chardonnay. The mansion has also 20 hectares of olive groves with 4000 olive trees, used to produce extra virgin Montalbano IGP olive oil.
